Student Success
The school is consistently successful in achieving appropriate Post 18 placements for students in either colleges, supported internships or employment with training. Many of these further education places will be on “mainstream” college courses, as our students will have met the entry requirements and will have the self-confidence as independent learners to participate fully in the adult world.
We are very proud of each student with their ongoing employment successes. Here are some examples of where our students have now moved on to:
- Learning Support Assistant Apprenticeships here at Stony Dean School
- Full-time employment at a Florist
- Career at Amersham Town Council
- Two positions at Sainsburys and Plumbing Company
- Work with family Bodywork business
- Apprenticeship in IT
