Year 11 Citizen-card Scheme

By January 5, 2015No Comments

Year 11 pupils have been given the fantastic opportunity of being involved in the CitizenCard Scheme. This scheme allows students to have a form of identification that can be used in a number of different ways. The CitizenCard scheme is supported by the Police, Trading Standards, Retail Organisations and by the Security Industry Association.
Citizen Cards are offered free of charge to students in schools and the application is filled in at school during form times.  Pupils will complete the application form and these will then be sent to CitizenCard headquarters, where they will be verified. Once these have been verified the cards will be returned to Stony Dean School.
A benefit of taking part in the CitizenCard Scheme is that pupils will be able to take advantage of a number of discounts in a variety of different retail outlets, ranging from 4% to 80%.
If you would like your child to participate in this scheme, please complete the form with a passport photo and return to Stony Dean School as soon as possible. Pupils will be given the application form this week in tutor time. Please click on the link below to access the citizen card scheme website if you would like to know more.
